Troy Nellis started his professional career as a radio station news director. He also dabbled in television sports reporting, retail management, greenhouse management and media sales before his career as the Director of the Service Learning program at North Hennepin Community College finally found him about a decade ago. He is an avid fan of music, collects classic vinyl (78's, 45's) and owns two restored jukeboxes. Troy enjoys relaxing outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, gardening, or tearing up the mini-golf course. But most of all he's a dedicated dad to his son Alex, whom Troy describes as "the center of my universe."
